Operational policy

Gersta, UAB performs general and special construction works of special-purpose commercial, industrial, public, cultural and residential buildings; regulative building works of cultural heritage constructions; installs interior and indoor and outdoor engineering networks; also performs electrical engineering works. Gersta, UAB has implemented an integrated Quality, Health, Safety and Environment Management System in compliance with the requirements of LST EN ISO 9001:2015, LST EN ISO 14001:2015 and BS OHSAS 18001:2007 standards. Pursuing to create a safe and secure working environment for its staff, as well as ensure safe conditions for community and environment, the company shall commit to undertake the following:

• Achieve its goals in quality, health, safety and environment management 
• Comply with all legal and other company regulatory requirements 
• Take into consideration environmental protection aspects related to general and special building works 
• Efficiently use natural resources and follow pollution prevention principles
• Sort waste in order to recycle it
• Identify and assess occupational risks
• Ensure incident and occupational illness prevention 
• Follow injury and desease prevention requirements
• Regularly perform management system  assessment analysis
• Continuously improve quality, health, safety and environment management performance indicators

All employees of the company are aware and understand this policy and it is publicly available. It is regularly reviewed and updated, to ensure it all times being effective and up-to-date.
